Bacon & Parmesan Pasta
What you need:
- 1 lb. bacon, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. penne
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
Directions:
- Fry bacon; season with pepper. Drain and set aside.
- Cook pasta al dente, according to directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Heat heavy cream and cream cheese in a medium saucepan on low. Once cream cheese is melted down, remove from heat.
- Add Parmesan, eggs, and red pepper flakes.
- Add sauce to pasta and stir in bacon. Loosen with reserved water, as needed.
