Brown Sugar Bacon Waffles
What you need:
- 5 slices bacon
- 3 Tbsp. + 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup oil
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
- Cook your bacon in frying pan or in the oven (which is my preferred method). Sprinkle 3 Tbsp. brown sugar and cook 3 more minutes without flipping. Remove from pan onto a paper towel lined plate and let cool. Then break into pieces.
- Beat eggs until fluffy - mix in milk, oil, baking powder, salt, vanilla, and remaining 2 Tbsp. brown sugar. Fold in bacon.
- Cook in a waffle iron according to waffle iron's directions. Serve immediately!
