Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
What you need:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Directions:
- Beat together butter, shortening, sugars, pudding mix, and extracts.
- Add eggs and mix until combined.
- Add flour and baking soda.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop onto a cookie sheet and bake at 350* for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Let set on sheet for 2 minutes and then remove to a wire rack.
- Yields about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
