Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

What you need:

    • 1/2 cup butter, softened
    • 1/2 cup shortening
    • 3/4 cup brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup white sugar
    • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 1/4 tsp. almond extract
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 2 1/4 cups flour
    • 1 tsp. baking soda
    • 2 cups chocolate chips

Directions:

    1. Beat together butter, shortening, sugars, pudding mix, and extracts.
    2. Add eggs and mix until combined.
    3. Add flour and baking soda.
    4. Stir in chocolate chips.
    5. Drop onto a cookie sheet and bake at 350* for 10 to 12 minutes.
    6. Let set on sheet for 2 minutes and then remove to a wire rack.
    7. Yields about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
