Spicy Dr. Pepper Shredded Pork
What you need:
- 1 large onion
- 1 (5 to 7 lb) pork shoulder
- Salt and pepper
- 1 can (11 oz.) Chipotle peppers in Adobo Sauce
- 2 cans Dr. Pepper
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Directions:
- Season pork shoulder with salt and pepper.
- Chop onion into quarters and place in bottom of the crockpot.
- Place pork shoulder in crockpot.
- Sprinkle brown sugar on top of pork and top with Chipotle peppers.
- Then top with Dr. Pepper.
- Cook on low for at least 6 to 8 hours.
- Remove shoulder and shred. Return meat back to crockpot.
- Serve on tortillas.
