What you need:
- 2 cups onions, sliced
 - 2 tbsp. minced garlic
 - 4 lb. pork roast
 - 1/2 tsp. salt
 - 1/2 tsp. pepper
 - 2 cans root beer
 - 16 oz. bottle BBQ sauce (I used a spicier bbq)
 
Directions:
**This recipe takes at the most 13 1/2 hours to make, at the least 6 1/2 hours. Make sure you plan ahead for this.**
- Place half the onions and all the garlic into the bottom of your crockpot.
 - Salt and pepper pork to taste and place on top of onions and garlic.
 - Add 1 can root beer.
 - Cover and cook for 8 to 10 hours on LOW or 5 hours on HIGH.
 - Remove roast and let cool, discard onion and juices in crockpot.
 - In a saucepan, bring BBQ sauce and 1 can of root beer to a boil. Simmer for 15 to 25 minutes.
 - Meanwhile, shred pork with two forks.
 - Return pork to crockpot and add sauce plus the other half of the onions.
 - Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 to 3 hours.
