Easy Blackberry Cheese Danish
What you need:
- 1 can Pillsbury crescent rolls
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1 cup fresh blackberries (I used frozen)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp. heavy cream
- 1/8 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
- Combine cream cheese, sugar, flour, and 1 tsp. vanilla.
- Roll out crescent dough onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Press the seams together.
- Spread cream cheese filling down the middle of the dough leaving room on each side to cut strips.
- Top cream cheese with blackberries.
- Slice strips on each side and alternate wrapping them around the filling.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 375*. Cool.
- In a small bowl, mix together powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla for icing. Drizzle over top of cooled danish. Slice and serve.
