Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos Verde

What you need:

    • 3 to 4 chicken breasts
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 1 jar (16 oz.) salsa verde
    • 1 can (4 oz.) diced green chiles
    • 1 tsp. ground cumin
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • tortillas
    • Toppings: shredded cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, salsa, etc.

Directions:

    1. Place chicken in slow cooker.
    2. Top with onion, green chiles, cumin, and garlic.
    3. Pour salsa verde all over chicken.
    4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
    5. Remove chicken from crockpot and shred.
    6. Add enough leftover juices to make moist and serve in tortillas topped with your favorite toppings.
