Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos Verde
What you need:
- 3 to 4 chicken breasts
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 jar (16 oz.) salsa verde
- 1 can (4 oz.) diced green chiles
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- tortillas
- Toppings: shredded cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, salsa, etc.
Directions:
- Place chicken in slow cooker.
- Top with onion, green chiles, cumin, and garlic.
- Pour salsa verde all over chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Remove chicken from crockpot and shred.
- Add enough leftover juices to make moist and serve in tortillas topped with your favorite toppings.
