Chicken Nuggets with Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
What you need:
- 2 cups crushed sour cream and onion chips
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 6 chicken breast filets, cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
Directions:
- Mix together egg and milk. Dip chicken into egg mixture. Then into the chips.
- Drizzle baking sheet with melted butter.
- Place chicken on sheet and cook in a 350 preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes.
- Serve with honey mustard (recipe follows - prepare beforehand) or your choice of condiment.
Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
What you need:
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp. honey
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or juice from 1/2 lemon
- Horseradish to taste
- 2 tbsp orange juice (more or less as needed)
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients except orange juice and mix well.
- Thin to dipping consistency with orange juice.
- Cover and chill for 2 hours. Makes 1 1/4 cup.
