Buffalo Chicken Calzones
What you need:
- 1 lb. pizza dough
- 1 lb. chicken breasts, diced
- 2 tsp. plus 1/2 cup hot pepper sauce, divided
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pizza sauce
Directions:
- Melt butter in a hot skillet and cook chicken.
- Once chicken in cooked, reduce heat and add 1/2 cup hot pepper sauce. Stir well. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix together pizza sauce and 2 tsp. hot pepper sauce.
- Divide pizza dough in half and roll into circles.
- Top each circle with half pizza sauce, half the chicken, and half the mozzarella cheese.
- Fold circle in half and crimp with fork to seal.
- Bake at 450* for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
