Quickie Quiche
What you need:
- 1 (9-inch) refrigerated pie crust (or make your own!)
- 5 slices of bacon
- 1/2 small onion, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Pinch black pepper
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425*. Place pie crust into a pie dish and bake for about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle half the cheese into the pie crust.
- Cook bacon and crumble.
- Saute onions in a small amount of the bacon fat.
- Beat eggs with milk, salt, and pepper.
- Place bacon and onions on top of pie crust, then pour egg mixture over top.
- Top with other half of cheese and bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
