DIY Vanilla Extract
What you need:
- Vanilla beans
- Liquor - I used 750mL of vodka
- A clean, airtight container to store it in
Directions:
- You'll need about 8 to 10 beans per 750mL of alcohol.
- Split the vanilla beans down the middle. Place into your container.
- Fill with alcohol and place the lid on top.
- Store in a dark place for around 2 months. Shake lightly once a week. Then you are ready to go!
