Spicy Dr. Pepper Shredded Pork

What you need:

    • 1 large onion
    • 1 (5 to 7 lb) pork shoulder
    • Salt and pepper
    • 1 can (11 oz.) Chipotle peppers in Adobo Sauce
    • 2 cans Dr. Pepper
    • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar

Directions:

    1. Season pork shoulder with salt and pepper.
    2. Chop onion into quarters and place in bottom of the crockpot.
    3. Place pork shoulder in crockpot.
    4. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of pork and top with Chipotle peppers.
    5. Then top with Dr. Pepper.
    6. Cook on low for at least 6 to 8 hours.
    7. Remove shoulder and shred. Return meat back to crockpot.
    8. Serve on tortillas.
