Grilled Chicken Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce
What you need:
- 1 lb. chicken breast
- Montreal Steak seasoning
- 1/2 lb. penne pasta
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper
- 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley
- 6 to 8 fresh basil leaves
Directions:
- Season chicken with steak seasoning and grill. Slice into strips.
- Meanwhile, cook penne and drain. Toss with a little olive oil.
- Meanwhile meanwhile, heat butter and oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and stir, cooking for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Add chicken broth and reduce by half.
- Stir in tomato sauce, heavy cream, and salt and pepper, to taste. Heat on low.
- Chop parsley and basil and add to sauce.
- Add pasta to cream sauce, toss to coat.
- Serve topped with grilled chicken.
