Ingredients

Kathy Klco's Christmas Rice

In a LARGE covered pan, Saute 1/2 to 1 whole head of garlic in 1/2 stick of butter for 2 minutes.

Add 1 cup of dry wild rice. Saute 15 minutes on medium heat. Stir intermittently.

Add 1 cup brown rice, 1 tablespoon of salt and 4 1/2 cups of water or chicken/turkey stock.

Cook covered on medium heat until water absorbs (about 30-60 minutes).

<I>Goes amazing with Chicken and Turkey. Also try throwing some in your scrambles eggs! YUMM!!!

Kathy Klco's Long-Lost Fantastic Rice Recipe

This rice was a traditional Christmas dish in our home every year until my Mom passed away. No one knew the recipe but her.

It's taken me 15 years, but I finally got the recipe right! Please try it and use it as often as you like.

Goes amazing with Chicken and Turkey. Also try throwing some in your scrambles eggs! YUMM!!!
