Shrimp and Garlic
Ingredients
olive oil
1 pound raw shrimp (16-20 per pound size) cleaned, peeled and deveined
5-6 or more cloves of garlic minced
red pepper flakes
sea salt and pepper
Procedure
Clean and peel shrimp. If you use the larger shrimp it will take less time to clean them. Use as much olive oil as you want - at lease 2-3 T or more. Heat the oil and then add the shrimp. Cook for about a minute then add the garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook until the shrimp is done - just a few minutes. Salt and pepper to taste just before serving.
You can serve this with baguette and soak up the pan juices.
I used to buy crispy flat bread and top it with hummus then the sauteed shrimp and then crumbled feta cheese - -maybe some diced red pepper and red onion too. Yummy!
