5 C flour
2 tsp salt
2 C warm water
1 package yeast
3 T olive oil
Dissolve yeast in water and let set for about 5 minutes. Whisk in the oil. Add the remaining ingredients. Knead. Put dough in an oiled bowl and let raise in warm place for about 1.5 hours. Flatten the dough onto a WELL greased (with olive oil) jelly roll pan. Poke the dough with a fork many times. Let rise for about 45 minutes. Top with whatever you want or just olive oil, Italian seasonings, and parmesan cheese.
Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes.
I would serve this up at the cottage as a pizza with lots of toppings and cheese. It makes a very thick pizza. I also like to sprinkle the crust with sesame seeds that have been toasted.
