Sue's Summer Salsa

Ingredients

Large can of fire roasted diced tomatoes

one med onion

1 small can of chopped green chilies

large handful of cilantro leaves

a couple shakes of red hot sauce

2 cloves garlic

1 tsp sugar

cumin to taste (1/2 tsp)

1 small jalepano pepper

1/2 c canned corn

juice of one lime

salt if needed

Procedure

Using the food processor mince the garlic cloves then add the cilantro and jalepano and pulse till fine. Quarter the onion and then process to small pieces. Add the chopped green chiles, tomatoes, sugar, red hot and lime juice. Process a few pulses. Add the corn and process a few more pulses. You don't really want to chop the corn up too much.

I like to make this when I have fresh cilantro in the garden.
