Amaretti Cookie (Almond Cookie)

1 cup sugar
1 7 oz almond paste
1 tsp amaretto almond liquid
2 large egg whites
1/4 cup of sugar to sprinkle on the top

Mix ingredients except sugar for sprinkling. Sprinkle cookies with sugar and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes on parchment paper covered cookie sheet. Let them cool on the cookie sheet.

April 24, 2011 - Mom/Grandma(Patsy Lincolnhol) made these for an Easter dinner that was a four course Italian meal! They did this shortly after returning from a trip to Italy and wanted to share the food experience with all.
