2 1/2 tsp. or 1 pk. active dry yeast
1 tsp. sugar
2 cups lukewarm milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups flour (I used 1/2 ww flour)
1 cup buckwheat flour
2 T sugar
5 T canola or melted butter
2 eggs beaten
Prep: in a small bowl, sprinkle yeast into the warm water and add 1 tsp. sugar. Let stand till foamy or 10 minutes
Pour warm milk and salt in a large bowl, the add the yeast mixture, then whisk in the flours. Cover and refrig over night or on the counter if its cool. (worked on the counter in my air conditioned kitchen)
Next morning add the sugar, oil, eggs and soda. Cook according to your waffle iron instructions.
