Rosemarie's Mint Brownies

Ingredients
BROWNIES
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter
Melt together and cool
Add in order
2 eggs beaten
1 cup sugar
1/4th tsp. peppermint flavor
1/2 cup flour
1/8th tsp. salt
1/2 cup nuts
MINT TOPPING
triple for 9 by 13 pan
Spread on cooled brownies
2T soft butter
1 cup pw sugar
1 T. cream +
1/2 tsp. peppermint flavor
Green food color
DARK CHOCOLATE TOPPING
triple for 9 by 13 pan
1 sq dark or semisweet chocolate
1 T. butter melted
Drizzle over the frosting layer,,tilt pan to spread. Cool and cut....
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes in an 8 inch pan. Do not over bake. Double brownie recipe for a 9 by 13 pan.

The recipe was given to me by Patsy Lincolnhol and I think it is Rosemarie O'Neil's recipe. John and Rosemarie lived next to Ron and Bonnie Hayhoe off Cryets Road in Lansing.
