Peanut Brittle - Kate McKenna

Ingredients

2 C sugar

1 C light corn syrup

1/2 C water

2 C peanuts (raw)

2 tsp baking soda

2 tsp vanilla

1 tsp butter

Procedure

Boil water and sugars till 280 degrees. Add peanuts and cook for 3 minutes. Add the baking soda and stir until it stops foaming. Add 2 tsp of vanilla and 1 tsp butter. Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet and place in the snow.
