Nina's Roast Beef

Ingredients

I buy English cut roast,,they are usually thicker and larger than a chuck..

2 English cut roast about 2-3 # each

1 plastic cooking bag

1 rounded teaspoon of SanChez seasonings..

2 cans of mushroom pieces

1 envelop of McCormick Au Jus Gravy mix

Procedure

follow the instruction for using the plastic bag......think it is shake a tablespoon of flour in the bag..

put the roasts in the bag and sprinkle with the SanChez. ( could use a seasoning of your choice). you cut some holes in the bag ..place in a baking dish and cook the beef until well done.

Cool the meat,,,so I usually do it two days ahead, so I can lift out the solid fat and the meat will slice very thin.when it is cold. Place the meat in a serving baking dish ( mix the McCormick as directed using the juices from the cooking for part of the 3 cups of water.) pour the juice on the meat and sprinkle with the mushrooms. I keep it in the refrigerator and warm it in the oven at 350 when ready to serve... enjoy...

McCormick is the only Au Jus that doesn't have MSG as far as I know..
