Sunflower Seed Cheese

Ingredients

This is also great on fresh veggies or pretzels....... ie. cucumber, carrots, celery, jicama, broccoli, cauliflower

Sunflower seed cheese

2 cups raw sunflower seeds soaked for 4-6 hours

1 fresh lemon- juiced

1 Tb apple cider vinegar

1 large clove garlic

1/2 tsp sea salt

filtered water

Options

add to sunflower seeds when soaking for a different flavor

cashews

almond

macadamia

Spices 2 TB

fresh herbs

basil

cilantro

parsley

Dry herbs 1 TB

all of the above

Fine Herb blend

cumin

chipotle powder

cinnamon

nutmeg

Procedure

Soak sunflower seeds for 4-6 hours, drain water and rinse in cool water, using a mesh colander to remove the floating skins. Let sit on counter for 2 hours to germinate, otherwise if you don't have time for this process, skip. Add seeds and reminding ingredients to high power blender. Use filtered water if not smooth enough. Leave out garlic if using with fruit
