Rhubarb Custard Pie

This is the recipe from my grandma --so little direction!

Rhubarb custard pie

3 cups cut rhubarb

1 3/4 cups sugar

1 tablespoon flour

1 tablespoon cornstarch

salt

Mix flour, cornstarch, and salt

3 eggs well beaten

1/4 cup cream or milk

Beat eggs, add cream, and flour mixture and rhubarb. Make crust and pour in mixture, dot with butter and bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes and 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Special Notes

Recipe from Liz Ahrens, President, Crooked Tree Arts Center Liz says she uses half and half for the milk and there is no top crust on the pie.
