Whole Wheat Flax and Apple Muffins

Ingredients

1/4 C ground flax seed

3/4 C whole wheat graham flour

3/4 C white flour

1/2 C sugar

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 egg beaten

1 1/2 C chopped apples

3 T veggie oil

1/2 C milk

1/2 C chopped nuts

Procedure

Blend dry ingredients together. Mix in a separate bowl egg, veg oil, milk. Add dry ingredients to egg mixture till just blended. Fold in apples and nuts. Batter will be thick. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
