Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

2 3/4 C flour

2 tsp cream of tarter

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 C butter

1/2 C shortening

1 1/2 C sugar

2 eggs

Procedure

Mix together dry ingredients and set aside. Cream together butter, shortening and sugar then add eggs. Mix together with the dry ingredients. Roll dough into balls and roll them in a cinnamon and sugar mix. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

Special Notes

This was one of my favorite cookies that my mother would make. Loved them just slightly cooled out of the oven with milk!
