Thanksgiving Bread Stuffing

Ingredients

1 loaf dried bread

1 C chopped onions

1/2 C celery chopped

1 tsp salt

sage to taste

2 C chick stock

1/2 pound of pork sausage fried and drained

Procedure

Saute all together and stuff into the bird.

Copper Kettle recipe for Lansing Michigan. Our family(usually my dad) always made the stuffing different by adding things like dried fruit, pecans, or using corn bread and white bread mixed.
