Buttery Shortbread Pastry Dough

2 cups flour
14 T butter chilled and cut into small pieces
1 large egg lightly beaten
2 tsp granulated sugar
1T heavy cream chilled
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp salt
Procedure
Procedure
- In a food processor, combine the flour, butter, egg, sugar, cream, lemon juice, and salt and pulse until the dough starts gathering together in big clumps.
- Turn dough out onto a counter and gather it together. Shape the dough as directed in the berry dessert recipe or recipe of your choice.
