Dill Pickles
Ingredients:
7 cups water
2 cups white vinegar
1/2 cup kosher salt
Bunch of Dill
Small dill cucumbers
Rye bread
Garlic
Directions:
Heat water, vinegar, and salt until boiling
Pack pickles in quart mason jars with 6 cloves of garlic
Place dill pieces in the bottom, middle, and top of the cucumbers.
Cover with hot liquid
Place 2 slices of rye bread on top
Screw top on. Sit on counter for 4 days. Remove bread, replace top and put in the refrigerator.
