Dill Pickles

Ingredients:

• 7 cups water

• 2 cups white vinegar

• 1/2 cup kosher salt

• Bunch of Dill

• Small dill cucumbers

• Rye bread 

• Garlic

Directions:

1. Heat water, vinegar, and salt until boiling

2. Pack pickles in quart mason jars with 6 cloves of garlic

3. Place dill pieces in the bottom, middle, and top of the cucumbers. 

4. Cover with hot liquid

5. Place 2 slices of rye bread on top

6. Screw top on. Sit on counter for 4 days. Remove bread, replace top and put in the refrigerator.
