Sol Summary Report (SSR) for 28 March 2016

SOL: 8

Summary Title: Feeling like The Three Little Pigs with the wolf outside

Mission Status: Running on the CAT generator, all other systems are nominal

Sol Activity Summary: We woke up early this morning to get ready for our 08:00 AM EVA, we were only three on this EVA and since Mathieu and Nadine were at the observatory last night they woke up later to get rest. Gregory finally arrived just before we left to help us put our EVA suits. During the EVA it was a bit cold, but in was nicer than yesterday where the heat was hard to endure.

We came back at 10:30, after 2 long hours of EVA (we were a little bit late this morning) exhausted from our long walk.

For the afternoon Julie made an apple crumble that we are going to eat tonight! I am impatient!!!

Anomalies in work: NorCal Rover might have some problem. The source of the short circuit was found, but impossible to rotate the head.

Weather: Cloudy, warm and very windy in the afternoon.

Look ahead plan: EVA#9

Crew Physical Status: Physical status OK. Electricity in the air, but we are sure that the problems can be solved.

EVA: Walking EVA, we went to the top of the hill that is visible from the north of the base, it was quite a hike but a very nice one.
