Fixed the wireless connection and internet. Will send supplemental report tomorrow to describe the process used to fix the problem. HAL computer is also now connected to the internet.
We request help -- please give us instructions on how to use HAL to submit our reports. We have found the reports on HAL and each has a button that says "Submit for Earth Transmission." What does this button do? Does it save the report to the HAL hard drive? Does it send the report by email to mdrs-mission-support@marssociety.org?
Do you require us to save all reports to HAL? Is this done by copying files from personal laptops, or must we submit them using the entry form pages?
Also, how do crews typically transfer their reports from personal laptops to HAL? On my Mac laptop "HAL's remote desktop" shows up but when I try to drag-and-drop I get an error: "the item can’t be moved because “hal's remote desktop on HabActivityLogger” can’t be modified."
