Purpose:

Identifications of habitat systems for reliability and redundancy research.

Narrative:

During the first EVA observation, the EVA team walked around the base and searched for possible locations to perform the reliability study in the morning. Selected objects for reliability study:

* Generator

* Gas Tank

* Propel Tank

* Solar Tank

* Receiver

* Green House Habitat

* Potable Water System

* Observatory Box

Secondly, the EVA team walked in the Martian desert in order to get familiar with the martian suits and test whether they work properly. During the EVA hours, different types of soils seen such as grey silt, sandy beach. Also some small samples were collected by EVA team in the morning. It is also recorded that there are many small frozen streams in the area.
