Dear all,

The crew is well arrived on Mars and tomorrow will officially be Sol 1 of our mission. Everybody is looking forward to start our simulation and make it a success, together. Therefore, tonight at 9pm after the CapCom windows, we will close the doors.

Otherwise, the Hab has been cleaned and tidied up and it already feels like home. We confirmed that the brand new bread maker and shop vac are working well.

It’s a pleasure to be back here at MDRS to lead this extraordinary team with my ex-co-crewmember Mohammad Iranmanesh.

As one (now) famous saying goes: "Let’s science the s*** out of this!"
