COMMANDER FINAL REPORT

The day has come for final preparations of the MDRS Commandership handover to the new Commander of Crew 146. It has finally sunken in that my time here has come to an end and tomorrow I will be leaving my “home” for four weeks and returning back to my Earth home, families and loved ones.

It has been an extraordinary experience and throughout the whole journey I have had the unique opportunity to meet and work alongside many extra-ordinary people who share the same passion for space exploration and the drive to develop ways for enabling humans to one day settle on the Red Planet. All are such visionaries and pioneers and “out-of-the-box” thinkers.

Thank you all for the great ride…here’s to the next exciting adventure….maybe in the Artic?
