Purpose:
the objective of this EVA was to explore the outer limits of our new environment and test our new Arn GPS.
Narrative:
the crew members used a new systen of arm GPS that we are testing and found a few usabiity problems that we hope to fix with future EVAs. The modificaition made to the system enabled better visibility for the user during daylight operations. While exploring the designated area, the team was able to see various rock formations, deformed rock faces, terrains, and small animal tracks in the snow. The team also climbed to the tallest rock face to further observe the surrounding area. The team reported that they were able to get a 360 degree scenery from the southern mountain to the northern hills and terrains.

Purpose:
During this EVA we expected to see great site that our other crew members told us about as well as address a few problems that we noticed on our forearm GPS system
Narrative:
When we first left the airlock we had a few problems kick starting the ATVs but after a few minutes we were up and riding into the sub freezing weather. After a very long and cold drive through the snow filled roads we reached our destination. When we parked our ATVs we looked all around and only saw beautiful places we wanted to go. We saw an interesting route that we followed to get more use of our GPS system as well as get a nice stroll in. After a very long EVA we decided to return due to the sun coming down and our stomaches speaking to us even though that was the last thing we wanted to do. On our way back we had a small vehicular problem with the caked on snow an Icy roads. Which I know has been explained and elaborated in detail through other reports. Other then that issue we also realized how numb our hands were getting due to the wind chill so we were hoping to find a solution for future EVAs.
