Kartra Vs ClickFunnels: Which One Should You Choose?
In this quick post, l will be comparing 2 of the most popular funnel builders i.e. Kartra and ClickFunnels.
I will base my comparison on the following factors:

Pricing
When doing business, it's more important to take into consideration the cost of your business tools/softwares, since this have a huge impact on your cash flow.
For this reason, you need to choose a software which is cost effective in nature – so as to keep your costs at bare minimum.
With that being said, both of these softwares costs almost the same price range i.e. ClickFunnels costs $97/month for it's starter plan, whereas Kartra costs $99/month for the same starter plan.
And the cool thing is that, they both offer 14 day free trials – so that you can test out their features before committing to their paid plans.
However, Kartra charges a dollar for it's trial version – although they don't instantly charge your credit card.
Thus, based on price, it's a tie.
Ease Of Use
When choosing a software, you need to take into account the aspect of ‘how easy the software is – to navigate', since this determines the usefulness of the software to your business.
You don't need to choose a software that has a huge learning curve – since this might cost you time and money that should be used for growing your business.
With that being said, l find ClickFunnels to be one of the easiest softwares to use compared to other funnel builders.
Yes, they both offer a less complex drag and drop editor, but l find ClickFunnels less complex than Kartra.
Kartra has too many functions – which makes it a bit more complex (at least in my opinion).
But this differs from one user to the other – thus, you might need to test out both of these softwares and see which one is good for you.
Templates
When choosing a software, it's important to take into consideration the quality and quantity of templates which comes with the software – since this saves you a ton of time and energy required to build a page from scratch.
With that being said, both of these softwares comes with some premade templates – which you can easily customise using the easy drag and drop editor.
But based on my observation, ClickFunnels tends to offer better templates than Kartra – since ClickFunnels has been around for quite a long time – hence, they have managed to build a huge library of templates.
On the contrary, Kartra has fewer templates than ClickFunnels – but they're still adding some more to their library.
Thus, we’re expecting this company to add more templates in the future i.e. to continue boosting their library.
Integrations
When it comes to integrations, there is no doubt that ClickFunnels has more integration options than Kartra.
The reason being that, this company has been around for quite some time – thus, it has managed to build strong relations with a lot of companies.
Kartra on the other hand is still trying to establish relations with established companies – to be able to integrate with these companies.
Although it has some decent amount of integration options, it's still not comparable to ClickFunnels when it comes to this issue.
Affiliate Programs
Both of these companies offer great affiliate programs – which allows you to earn up to 40% - monthly recurring revenue.
This means that, if you refer someone to these platforms, you'll continue to get paid 40% of their monthly subscription fees – as long as that person remains a paying customer.
However, it is important to mention that, Kartra's affiliate program is a bit strict – meaning the company is a bit ‘picky' when it comes to accepting new affiliates.
For this reason, most people who tries to join this affiliate program gets rejected – since they do have a strict approval process.
ClickFunnels on the other hand is a bit lenient when it comes to accepting new affiliates.
This means that anyone can promote this company – even if you're not a ClickFunnels user.
But the only limitation of its affiliate program is that, you can’t promote the main ClickFunnels software when you haven't earned at least $1000 in commissions in a single month.
For this reason, you might need to promote other products like One Funnel Away, Traffic Secrets, Experts Secrets, Dotcom Secrets etc. – in order to earn the required threshold.
Community
When it comes to communities, there is no doubt that ClickFunnels has an amazing community – compared to most software companies.
They have a very supportive Facebook group – where you can find like-minded entrepreneurs who uses this software.
The cool thing is that, you can connect with other small business owners who're on the same journey as you.
And you can also read some success stories from other successful entrepreneurs who shares their stories in this group – thus, acting as a source of motivation (especially if you're just starting out).
Kartra on the other hand offers a wonderful community through social media – but it's not as close as ClickFunnels – since the latter has managed to build a strong community over the years.
Training & Support
When it comes to trainings, both of these softwares do offer some helpful training videos – which are aimed at educating their clients on how to use their softwares.
However, ClickFunnels tends to offer more training videos than Kartra, since the former tries by all means to keep their customers i.e. through educating them on how to make money using their software.
And we're all aware of their One Funnel Away training – which was designed to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with some useful skills required to boost their businesses.
Thus, l find ClickFunnels more resourceful when it comes to trainings (at least in my opinion).
Overall...
Overaly, l would say that, Kartra is more of an ‘all-in-one’ marketing tool – which offers more than just sales funnel tools.
On the contrary, ClickFunnels was mainly build as a sales funnel builder – thus, this software is really good when it comes to this field.
The question of which one to use really depends on what you're looking for in a software.
If you're looking for an ‘all-in-one’ marketing tool – which is feature rich, and cost-effective in nature, then Kartra is a great software for you.
However, if you're looking for a great funnel builder, which is easy to use, then ClickFunnels is the best option for you.
