How To Leverage Udemy & Skillshare To Get Content Ideas

In this post, l will quickly share with you a strategy that I've recently figured out – which helps to get some content ideas for your blog or YouTube channel.

The strategy involves leveraging Udemy & Skillshare i.e. using the tactics that I’m about to share in just a minute.

So stick around if you want to learn more about this strategy.

Let's get started!

~~~~~
Firstly, you need to visit Udemy & Skillshare ASAP!
Once you're on these platforms, select a category that's related to what you specialise in e.g. finance, digital marketing, affiliate marketing, dropshipping, etc.
Once you've selected a category, you'll see a bunch of courses that's related to that niche.
Simply filter the results by ‘most popular’ or ‘best selling’.
The reason being that, you'll be able to see the courses that are pulling a lot of traction – and if people are willing to pay for that information, it means that the information is on demand.
Thus, they'll be happy to get that information for free – since they're already proven to be interested in that info.
Once you've found the courses that are more popular, simply go through their course outlines in order to see what they've covered inside the course.
This is so important because, it gives you a clue on what people are actually looking for – and this will guide you when you decide to sit down & start creating your own content.
NB: You don't necessarily need to copy someone's else course from A to Z. Instead, just use their ideas for inspiration – and you try to come up with something of your own.
Once you've found the contents of the course(s), it's now high time to start creating your own content.
This is where you produce your blog posts or YouTube videos i.e. using the outlines that you found on the platforms.
Try to do some thorough research of those topics – so that you can produce something that's more valuable to your audience.
If the topic is too broad, try to cover it in a few blog posts (blog post series), or video series i.e. if it's YouTube.
That way, you can be able to produce something of great value to the people.
The fact that people are paying for that information on Udemy & Skillshare proves that they're actually so eager to learn about that topic.
Thus, if you provide it for free, most people will more likely consume your content i.e. due to reduced barriers – instead of going to Udemy/Skillshare & pay for that same information.
Thus, it's a great strategy that you should try to utilise.
NB: You can repeat this strategy for various topics related to your niche – and you wont run out of content ideas.
