Lasagna dinner party turned into a German Fest. It was so pleasant. There is something quite soothing about accordion music, and the players had that right attitude to just make it flow effortlessly.

Muss i denn, translates as "Must I then". Also named "Wooden Heart" is the third song in this video. Elvis used it in his movie . He was stationed in Germany after he was drafted in 1958.

This video includes a nice mix of health advice as Greg Reinwald, left, is a cardiac catheter nurse at Saint Peters Hospital where I got hip. Live your life, you never know. Greg was born in America but grew north of Munich. Herbie Liebenhagan ,right, plays in the Accord-O-Tunes band.

Didn't know I liked Jagermeister. Passed on it during the first rounds, then thought I should try. Very nice. Jagermeister means hunting master or conservation officer. Luftwaffe commander Hermann Goehring was appointed first Nazi Jagermeister. Has been referred to as Goehring Schnapps; they are so proud to point out the 56 herbs and spices that go into it. It's probably so good for you should drink it daily. I can't determine where our cordial glasses came from, but they had never used it before and came close to throwing them out. The cross in the deer's antlers is in reference to the Holy Spirit that Saint Eustathius ( & St. Hubert) saw back in the year 100. The legend, ironically, is that he was also a warrior General whose wife was kidnapped by pirates and his sons were killed by a lion and a tiger as the crossed a river. Believe it or not.
