earned my dues

I want to thank ENCON for giving me a golden parachute pension plan. On my 20TH YEAR of retirement I feel like I beat the system. It's not usual that you can say you beat the government. Thanks a million.

Like a jewel over the capital our Headquarters shines. We were always green before green was green.

I hadn't really wanted to retire, I liked my job. But when the opportunity knocked I opened the door.

Just south was my DOT regional headquarters D&H building where I first entered State service.

A couple miles north was my first DOT job. Construction on the Patroon Island four level interchange. Interstate 90 & 787.

And a few miles west was my second four level interchange job Lark Dove after military service. I-90 .

Two years Army duty at Fort Gordon (Eisenhower) Georgia was also credited toward my free pension money. Most of my duty was with the Corps of Engineers who are working on the transformation to the U.S. Cyber Command Center.

After I'm gone I want everyone to remember me by these monuments. My ashes will probably be in the ground at some forgotten cemetery - it doesn't matter. Perhaps I'll sneak down to these sites with a spray can and make some graffiti "Terry was here".
