Chapter 207R2
Sept 25, 2010
SU 42-Colgate 7
reunion 2
We almost literally stumbled into "Chuck's" above as we discovered this prototypical grunge-graffiti-chic SU college hangout bar. It is just down Marshall Street and down the alley. It is described as an "SU institution that anchors countless memories students will not quite fully recall but somehow never forget".
Met up with old Bud-light & SUperfan Dana at his tailgate party on Crouse. We were all interviewed by the pretty Newhouse Communication Senior
to include the semi-inebriated semi-homeless three-quarters Indian, Gary, who has become a welcomed and continuing guest. She shot video for a later production.
Buzz gave us a little video history lesson on the April 27, 1967 protest when former Alabama Governor George Wallace kicked off his Presidential campaign at Manley Field House with his racially charged message, in case you have forgotten.
Oh yeah, we won the game 42-7. We are hoping to increase our reunion attendance by 33% next year!
A video tour of Chuck's for those of you who forgot about these college hangouts.
