Blueberries

they say blueberries are red when they are green

Like father like son here. Or should I say that the other way around. Lucas was kind of the organizer telling people where to pick etc. He had a ball.

They are pretty and tasted tangy very good and better than in the store. This is the best crop ever at the State's largest blueberry farm, Winney's Blueberry Farm just north of Saratoga. It does take longer than picking peaches but is really a better produce.

Electronic hawk screech noise speakers did not deter this Cedar Waxwing. My best shot ever of a Waxwing.

Birds aren't the only ones not to be scared off from danger. This squirrel withstood a few talons and bluster. Stood it's ground then nonchalantly went on feeding until the juvenile hawk got tired and left.

Did a little kayaking on Otsego Lake with some nurses and DEC water quality specialists. They camped at the Glimmerglass State Park . Their beach.

Then on to the Council Rock Brewery for some hops to celebrate Tony's 60th birthday. The boulder that sticks out of the water at the south end of the lake is said to have been a meeting place for Iroquois.
