Chapter 21 Vacation with Paul

I've had some requests to show more people in my journals. Consequently, I took my daughter on a vacation trip to Lime Rock CT race track where an old buddy from my racing days invited us down to watch him race. 

Paul rocks. He maintained second place through most of the American GT Challenge Race part of the  American Le Mans Series race with his Corvette until he retired with mechanicals. You can see his body has gotten frail now and he trembles uncontrollably but at 79 1/2 years (same number as car) and in 85 degree heat he's entitled. Wife Joanne was warm and charming as ever. 

I hope you stop to think of Paul next time you start complaining you're too old to do such and such or your bum knee hurts. He is an inspiration. (and he likes cars)

Am thinking of coming up with some different angles and story lines for my upcoming chapters.
