Ch 85 Half A Glass                                                  Eric & Kristen (O) Batchelder

Here’s a toast to you Lo Jack car theft deterrent system girl, and to you copper water pipe solderer guy. Is the glass half empty or half full? That is the rhetorical question without an answer. Or is the glass about to be smashed into a thousand bits and swept away or to become a mere dust particle on the dance floor of life? [IT WAS] Is the glass symbolic of our lives here on Earth, or is it just a glass? Are we beginning to drink in the World’s intoxicating pleasures or are we about to take our last sip of nature’s free bounty?

But let’s not cry over spilled wine. “We’ve only just begun” was sung at my wedding. At niece Kristen and Eric’s wedding, I don’t remember the songs but they were all beautiful. I’m reminded of Dale’s favorite singer ,Neil Diamond, and his passionately written song;

“Dry your eyes. Take your song out. Well it’s a new born afternoon.

And if you can’t recall the singer, can you still recall the tune. Come dry your eyes.” http://www.neildiamondhomepage.com/lyricpag.htm#dryyoureyes

Also shown are Christie, Dave, Shawn and Melissa at cocktail hour warming up for their song. Many of them sang a little too loud and a little too long at the  http://www.thecoastguardhouse.com/  and   http://www.v-inn.com/ where we lodged.

Answer to above question: It was always half full.
