Chapter 54

Ch 54 Show Off My New Mustang
To let the good times roll, as Ray would say, you gotta spend some cash. So I figure in the Golden Years, it's now or never. Some people wont believe I actually bought a new car. It is against my nature, uneconomical and all. But hey, I am in a new chapter of life (54). Joined the Blue Oval crowd as they say (Ford logo- pix cutouts) just put up this wallpaper in powder room
As I said in an earlier chapter I'm sort of at a crossroads. As fate would have it, I stopped by Crossroads Ford in Ravena on way back from a swap and put down payment of the cash I had in my wallet.
Clockwise: Had to drive to Buffalo one cold morning (icicles on house) swapping out a dark blue Mustang automatic for my 5 speed light blue.
Uncle Dick bought me a free lunch there. Company paid for the tolls. Mom bought Kathy & me lunch on a recent swap to Ithaca. Did I mention I got a free lunch from Dale in Tewksbury on the snow storm day swap.
On day I made full payment to Crossroads Ford, Chrysler sent me out to Syracuse for swap and lunch at Tully's. Don't even call Bill- he's too cheap to go out for lunch.
Even old people like the Stang (John & Loretta).
Liked the shot up by the Hague of Lake George on an earlier run.
