Turtles, Turtle Wax & Turtle Soup

endangered or delicious

Turtles can be endangered in NY (the box and bog species). Don't know what these are nor care but there are thousands of em along my walk each week. As a kid I caught the large snapping turtle like the one above on a flying grasshopper back at the farm/swimming pond. Thought it was a giant trout, but then quite dismayed- got the wheel barrow to push it home and show off.
