Ch 164 Birds of Virgil

There had been a whole menagerie of bird species raised at the Van Gorder farm. Some hatched from eggs in incubators, some brought in as adults. It was mostly as a hobby, but pretty involved.

Dad and Carol helped raise chickens at this same location in the 30's. This is  Dad's first handbuilt shack within the chicken pen. Complete with heat, pond in background. Appears that Grandpa Hayden had to improve on the design here (looking out the window) with Dale and Carol. Now 70 years later the new Hayden Olmsted and Dan Markowski repeat the farm cycle.

My most challenging edit to date. Checking the stats, the worm video has accrued the most interest beating out the Tennis Star, sorry Kristen. Maybe Dale is spreading the link around Raytheon.
