Doing the Combat Photography chapters has inspired me to do some more slideshows with appropriate audio dubs. Self learning on my desktop iMac in the iPhoto program iFound that iNeed to edit an appropriate audio file and that the iMovie program would allow editing chopping splicing an mp3 to achieve the desired results. It takes quite an effort but iThink it's worthwhile.

iAlways thought Harry's 1974 Cradle Song was a masterpiece, even before having any kids. iFeel connected to him because I was driving back from eastern Long Island in the State DEC truck from a field trip the day he died July 16, 1981. I was just approaching the Jerico exit on the LIE when a huge traffic jam was just forming. I got thru it before getting bogged down then heard a bit later on the radio that this hero had died in that crash. Was I connecting with his spirit leaving the body as I passed that crash site? (more on that later)

Time traveling in your mind is a good thing: thinking back & thinking forward. It can help guide your life. A good song is timeless in the sense that whether you are 20 or 120 you can identify with the message. Sadly had to change the pitch to be compatible with copyright. Copyright is meant to protect the integrity of the art but this ends up diminishing it , oh well.

I've used the Moron Brothers music before. Hold the thoughts about my siblings. I'm repeating the link because my brother never seems to get these chapters. He did learn to swim before I did, however. The band has a genuine style that is refreshing. It might seem incongruous that country hicks could produce a sensitive piece of music for my soundtrack. It's a bit sappy but it is fitting.
