Imagine my surprise to bet the coin from Malta among my unknown purchase.
This is how I got my "unknown" artifact via eBay for a few dollars somewhere in Croatia?
After believing it to be maybe 600 years old but nota priceless relic, I wanted to clean it up. I did take it to a jeweler who said it was less than 10 carat gold, but maybe copper maybe some gold?
It seems to be a lock for sure.
