Above link to an on location photo shoot from my deck. Was sitting there the other day basking in the limelight of pension bliss when all of a sudden what should appear. I hear such a clatter of tiny beating wings. Twas like a little helicopter and I knew immediately to slowly point the cam in direction of the hummingbird feeder. You may notice I positioned camera to catch my own reflection (upside down and backwards) in the morning dew drops under the top rail. If you look closely, you can also see my image in her ever watchful eye. Hadn't planned on that one. A good model will always give you more than you bargained for, if you are lucky.
These birds are my pets. Easy to care for and no hassle. They have freedom and wildness.
Just nabbed the Eastern Kingbird up at Exit 8 Dunkin Donuts, thru resourceful hunting techniques- story in folder.

Only negative to bird feeding is the menace of squirreldom. They are persistent hoggy pests. I've waged a long standing battle against them an launched many a counterattack, with some success. But after I die, I do want to come back as a squirrel. They are so resourceful and successful. And there are a lot of people I want to badger and annoy.
