Retirement Ceremony

time to hang up the skates

It was a special night ! A raucous capacity crowd was on hand as well as the Mustang News Network iReporter to cover this momentus event. The old hacker had finally cried "uncle" and literally hung up the skates. The upshot of the night was the whole concept was stood on it's head, as he announced that he would be making a comeback. Stay tuned.

seriously: it's an honor to be associated with this group, I know I don't deserve the attention; never considered myself a "real" hockeyplayer. It's just the Mustang way- to have fun and savor the moment. The real leader of this group is my old bearded defense partner on the right, Gary Douglas, who taught these guys to skate in youth hockey when they were 8 years old and he didn't even know how to himself.
